Simeon Oyakhilome Okoduwa is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Timeless Practice. A legal generalist, arbitrator and corporate governance professional called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992, he heads the Commercial Advisory, Transactions and Dispute Resolution teams of the Firm, representing domestic and international businesses and high net-worth individuals on transactional and regulatory issues.
He began his career in active private legal practice, appearing before every hierarchy of the Nigerian Judiciary between 1993 and 2004. His forensic experience was enriched by a 14-year banking career at UBA Plc, Citibank Nigeria Limited and Bank PHB/Keystone Bank Limited, where he served as Deputy General Counsel/Company Secretary and Group Head, Asset Remedial Management, exiting at AGM level.
His multi-disciplinary expertise spans capital raising and M&A; intellectual property and technology; corporate governance and board support; business recovery, insolvency and debt recovery; and litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He is a registered capital market operator, BRIPAN certified, and a past Vice Chairman of the M&A Committee, NBA-SBL. He won the prestigious DINMA 2018 Award in recognition of accomplishments in Law and Corporate Legal Services.
